Teeth restoration using implants
Implantation makes the next possible:
- Tooth restoration – using a crown. The crown can be made using metal and porcelain or zircon and porcelain materials.
- Teeth restoration – using a bridge construction. The bridge can also be made using metal and porcelain and zircon and porcelain materials.
- Restoration of a toothless jaw – can be done using a fixed denture or bridge construction as well as conditionally detachable denture.
Restoration of a single tooth
Teeth restored with an implant fully restore the chewing function and cannot be distinguished from natural teeth. The crown is fixated on the implant with the help of so called abutment (Abutment is a connecting element for the implant and the crown). Abutment can be standard (Factory made) or individual (Digitally made). An individual abutment fully replicates the patients gum shape, is more aesthetic and supports hygiene better.
Restoration of multiple teeth using a bridge construction
Bridges can be attached to the implants. Bridges replicate the shape of the teeth and restore the chewing function.
Removable dentures fixed to implants (all on 4)
Are made when teeth are fully absent from the oral cavity.
The construction is based on 4 implants and fully restores the teeth set.
The denture is connected to the implants with a lock system which ensures reliable fixation. The lock system also ensures the safe detachment of the denture for hygienic purposes.
The lock system of the denture consists of consolidated metal bars, which are fixated on the locks inside the denture, this ensures that when eating dense foods the denture stays fixated.
Unlike standard dentures the conditionally detachable denture is more comfortable and restores the chewing function better.
Aesthetic dentistry
The main goal of aesthetic dentistry is to create beautiful smiles with healthy, white and shiny teeth. For this purpose, ceramic veneers are used to change the color and the shape of a tooth (CEREC technology), individual zircon abutments and/or zircon-ceramic crowns.
To create teeth symmetry gum correction is often used, and in the case of gummy smile we use lip plastic.
Ceramic restoration
Ceramic restoration is restoring the shape of the tooth using ceramic materials.
Depending on the surface it can be either be a crown, veneer or in the shape of filling (inlay, onlay, overlay).
In modern dentistry ceramic gives us the ability to restore the tooth’s shape and color, which cannot be distinguished from a natural tooth.
Ceramic restoration is not only used for Caries treatment, it is also used to treat defects like teeth discoloration and chipped teeth. It’s advantages are color stability and durability.
Ceramic maintains its function for a longer period of time and the dental tissues are minimally processed for the ceramic restoration.
