Standard implantation

The term “standard” refers to incising the gum under local anesthesia, followed by implantation. After the operation, cosmetic sutures are applied; slight redness and swelling of the gum are common in such cases. With proper care, discomfort dissipates in 4-5 days after surgery; sutures are removed in 5-7 days.

The standard method allows for better bone imaging and is used for implantation immediately after tooth extraction, as well as for bone grafting and/or small volume of available jawbone.
