Ceramic Inlays/Onlays

These represent a modern and high-tech method of tooth restoration, used in cases where tooth damage does not exceed approximately 50%. In such instances, the damaged tissue can be restored using an individually crafted ceramic inlay.

The inlay is created based on digital modeling and is milled in a high-tech machine using the CAD-CAM system. This technology ensures maximum precision, resulting in an inlay that fits the tooth structure perfectly and completely restores its anatomical shape.

Ceramic inlays visually resemble natural enamel as much as possible—they are characterized by natural color and transparency, making the restored tooth practically indistinguishable from one’s own. The material does not change color or shape over time and is not subject to shrinkage or expansion, ensuring a long-lasting and stable result.

One of the significant advantages of ceramic inlays is that their fabrication often does not require the devitalization of the tooth, allowing the tooth to maintain its vitality and natural function.

In terms of durability, ceramic inlays significantly surpass composite fillings, which is why they are considered one of the most reliable methods for preserving tooth tissue and achieving long-term restoration.
