In modern prosthetic dentistry, removable dentures represent an effective, sophisticated, and comfortable solution for restoring partial or total tooth loss. At the “Dens” dental clinic network, patients are offered a wide selection of removable dentures in terms of both materials and design, allowing for the selection of the most optimal individual option for each patient.
Removable dentures are used when teeth are partially or completely missing. The structure consists of a base, artificial teeth, and fixation elements that ensure the stability and comfortable use of the prosthesis. The base can be made of modern materials with varying elasticity and flexibility, ensuring adaptation to the patient’s anatomical features.
Acrylic (Plastic) Removable Dentures are made of high-strength monomeric material. For better fixation on the upper jaw, the design fully covers the palate, ensuring the stability and functionality of the prosthesis during daily use.
Elastic Removable Dentures include structures made of new-generation materials, such as Nylon, Acry-Free, and thermoplastic prostheses. These materials are characterized by elasticity, light weight, and high comfort, which significantly reduces the risk of irritation to the gums and soft tissues.
Thermoplastic Bugel (Arch) Dentures can also be made from thermoplastic materials, partially covering the palate. This design is distinguished by optimal flexibility and high strength. Thanks to its lightweight structure, it does not irritate the gums and provides stable fixation and comfortable use.
Implant-Supported Removable Dentures (Semi-Removable) are used in cases of complete tooth loss. The structure rests on 4 or 6 dental implants and ensures the full restoration of the entire dental arch. The prosthesis is connected to the implants via a special attachment system, creating a firm and reliable fixation. If necessary, the structure can be removed for hygienic maintenance, which significantly simplifies oral care.
The Attachment System consists of a metal bar integrated into the implants and fixation locks located on the inner side of the prosthesis. This ensures maximum stability of the construction and practically eliminates the movement or displacement of the prosthesis while eating solid food. Compared to conventional removable dentures, this system is much more comfortable, stable, and effectively restores chewing function.
PFM (Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal) Constructions can be used to create both single crowns and bridge-type prostheses (restoring several teeth simultaneously). These systems are successfully fixed on both natural teeth and dental implants, providing the patient with a functionally durable and long-lasting result.
