When is endodontic treatment necessary?

Endodontic intervention is performed in the following cases:

Deep caries — when the decay reaches the tooth pulp (nerve).
Pulpitis — inflammation of the tooth nerve, characterized by acute, episodic, and often nighttime pain.
Periodontitis — inflammation of the root apex, accompanied by constant, dull pain and sensitivity when applying pressure to the tooth.
Tooth trauma or fracture — when the internal structure is damaged.
